Sasha Shirley, Legal Assistant
Sasha was born in Lebanon, TN, but soon moved to Western Kentucky where she spent most of her childhood, before moving back to Lebanon, TN. Sasha graduated High School in 2007 with Honors in English and as a Tennessee Scholar in Mathematics; she, also, graduated with recognition for volunteering in CDC Classes for special needs students.
Sasha was very interested in Law and took 3 semesters of Criminal Justice Classes. Life led her in a different direction, however, and she spent 10 years in a karate school where she became a 1st Degree Black Belt in Wado Ryu. She held the position of an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for 6 of those years. During that time, Sasha was an active member of the Cancer Crushers Team on the American Cancer Society fundraiser, Relay for Life.
Sasha was married, had a little girl, and then divorced by the time she met her husband in 2012. They met while he was attending a University in Lebanon, TN, studying Special Needs Education. They were married for 4 years before they decided to move closer to his family in Harrison, OH; which is where they currently reside with their two boys, one girl, and Labrador. Sasha began working for AWK Legal the beginning of June 2019.
Sasha enjoys spending time with her family, being involved in her community, and reading anything she can get her hands on.
