Max was born and raised in Cincinnati. He grew up in Springfield Township near the Winton Woods Park, attending school in the Winton Woods Public School District until the 9th grade. At that time his family moved to Anderson, and Max is a proud graduate of Anderson High School.
Max received an academic scholarship to American University, where he studied International Relations, with a concentration in East Asian Studies and economic policy. At AU, he worked for a highly regarded international marketing firm, interned with the U.S. Department of State, and taught English language courses in China. He graduated from the Honors Program in 3.5 years and continued on at a job working for an attorney who specialized in Veteran’s Law.
This experience led him to attend law school. He graduated from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He was awarded the Order of the Coif, the Order of Barristers, and graduated magna cum laude. During law school he was an Articles Editor for the Indiana Law Journal and a moot court Octofinalist.
He currently resides in Terrace Park with his wife and three children. His hobbies include disc golf, the Cincinnati Reds, and reading.
